DEVONthink To Go 2.0.6 is waiting for Apple’s App Store review with improvements and many important bug fixes. This maintenance release saves changes to documents every 60 seconds. It also saves them every time you leave the app, e.g., for an incoming call. (mehr)
DEVONthink 2.9.6, which we have just released, brings another bunch of workarounds for issues related to macOS Sierra’s broken PDF engine and scanner support. Both DEVONthink and DEVONnote also add new conditions to smart groups and honor metadata provided by ELO Office. iOS 10 comes with a great but somewhat hidden feature: Print to PDF. It allows you to save any document that you can print as a PDF and send it by email or clip it to DEVONthink To Go.
In the Share sheet from any app choose Print. The print preview dialog appears. Now instead of printing “pinch” on the print preview like just as if you’d want to enlarge it. It opens — now as a PDF — in a separate dialog. Choose Share again and send it anywhere you like. (mehr)

Version 2.0.2 of DEVONthink To Go which became available yesterday unveiled an issue that unfortunately didn’t surface even in our beta tests. In some situations it’s currently not possible to synchronize due to ‘pending files’. We have immediately sent a bug-fix release to Apple which is now waiting for Apple’s App Store review. (mehr)
We know how important a robust sync is. And so here’s another maintenance release for both DEVONthink for Mac as well as DEVONthink To Go. We’ve made synchronizing to e.g. WebDAV or Dropbox up to 3.7 times faster. Direct connections via the local network are more reliable now too and during a sync you can see which database is being synchronized. (mehr)
