There’s a minor incompatibility that keeps the application’s splash screen from being closed. You can expect a free maintenance update for DEVONagent that addresses this issue later this month. DEVONthink To Go 2.7.2

In the last few months we focused on getting DEVONthink 3 ready for prime-time and so it had become a bit quiet around DEVONthink To Go. Today, version 2.7.2 has passed Apple’s review.

Our maintenance release brings the sync mechanism on par with DEVONthink 3, makes its handling of indexed items consistent to the Mac, and brings back the sync status sheet. Change the stacking order of PDF annotations and, finally, view highlight annotations added with DEVONthink on the Mac. If you’re a Bookends user you can now link to items stored in your favorite references manager using the Bookends URL scheme. (more)

Catalina and Our Applications

macOS Catalina is going into a new round of public beta testing and is expected to arrive for everyone this autumn. It brings changes to iTunes, Find My Friends, and Reminders, but also a lot of modifications to the underpinnings. One of these (almost) invisible changes is the end of support for 32-bit applications. You might have already been notified by your Mac about applications that need an update. (more)
